A certain NFL fan should probably be buying a few lottery tickets this week after making a Super Bowl prediction that was a pretty much spot on.
The crazy thing is, he made it in October, months away from Sunday’s clash between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs. Back then, the playoffs hadn’t even shaped up yet, so it was always going to be a challenge when it came to picking teams.
Despite all of that, Twitter user Zach Fringer managed to get the teams and result spot on after the NFL asked for early Super Bowl predictions on October 26, 2022. But, even more importantly, he predicted the Chiefs would win on a late field goal after getting a penalty to put them within range.
While he got the exact penalty wrong, this is still a wildly accurate prediction. Even when the game was going on, no one could have imagined that such an exciting affair would be decided by a controversial call and a field goal.
We really hope Zach didn’t let his guess go to waste and put a wager on the game. It doesn’t get closer than that.
