We’ve seen countless messages, posts, videos and images of fans claiming to have found the “script” for a result of a future sporting event. This new one, relating to next year’s NFL Super Bowl contest, is truly something else.
TikTok user @brendynbetts14 shared a video claiming that the Super Bowl 58 script has already been leaked. In the video below, it shows a Super Bowl 58 matchup featuring the Kansas City Chiefs and the Detroit Lions, with Dan Campbell’s club emerging victorious 44-31.
If you look to the right side of the screen, you’ll notice a Wikipedia entry which also mentions a Lions’ victory over Kansas City. It also says that Tyler the Creator will have headlined the Super Bowl halftime show.
Super Bowl 58 will take place at Allegiant Stadium (home of the Las Vegas Raiders) on Feb. 11, 2024. The Chiefs, coming off their second title in four years, will try to become the first team to repeat as Super Bowl champions since the 2003 and ’04 New England Patriots.
The Lions are one of 12 teams to have never won the Super Bowl. The Lions, Houston Texans, Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars are also the only four clubs to have never appeared in the big game.
Detroit hasn’t won a playoff game since 1991. Will 2023 be the year that they finally a) make and b) win the Super Bowl? Only time will tell if this TikTok video predicted the future correctly.
