DeAndre Hopkins is available on the open market with every team in the league having the same opportunity to sign him for an amount that both sides would agree t.
The Arizona Cardinals released the five-time Pro Bowler last week after the team failed to find a trade partner for months.
One NFL executive told ESPN’s Dianna Russini they would take Hopkins on their team, but would only give him a one-year, $2 million deal since they have limited cap space.
Via BroBible:
“Russini stressed that teams have varying degrees of seriousness when it comes to pursuing Hopkins. Money is a significant factor, as the wide receiver is reportedly seeking a favorable deal.
“An NFL executive expressed a willingness to sign Hopkins for a mere $2 million if he’ll take it, but not more. Knowing Hopkins will go for a much bigger deal.”

The Buffalo Bills, New York Jets, and Dallas Cowboys were said to be interested in signing Hopkins, but have reportedly taken themselves out of the running.
Hopkins has also signed with Klutch Sports this week after previously representing himself.
Hopkins brings immense talent with him as he has been a first-team All-Pro three times and selected to the Pro Bowl five times in his 10 NFL seasons. He also has the eighth-most receiving yards through a player’s first 10 seasons in NFL history and the fourth-most receptions after a player’s first 10 seasons.
