NFL Draft Insider Outlines 7-Draft Picks Blockbuster Trade That Would Get Dolphins The 2020 No. 1 Overall Pick

The Miami Dolphins came into the 2019 season knowing they would need to suck in order to get a high draft pick and nab a good QB to change the fortunes of the franchise. Well, they won a little too much and now they sit at the #5 pick.

Cincinnati has the top overall selection, and while it’s difficult to think that the team would pass up on getting Joe Burrow, one draft insider has outlined a blockbuster proposal that may peak their interest.

The proposal starts with the Dolphins trading with the Detroit Lions first before they head to Cincinnati.

Here’s the proposal:

-MIA trades #5, #39, #141 & 2021 2nd rd to DET for pick #3
-MIA trades pick #3, #18 & 2021 1st rd pick to CIN for #1 pick.

I don’t think CIN will trade 1st pick but let’s have some fun here!
