The NFL ended up trolling themselves in an attempt to troll the Miami Dolphins over picking Tua Tagovailoa over Justin Herbert.
The Dolphins suffered a loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, with Herbert putting on a stellar performance to fire his team to a 23-17 result and take their record to 7-6.
The NFL’s YouTube channel posted a highlight video titled “Justin Herbert showed Miami what they could of had,” But they had to change it up, likely due to the typo. The change was also probably due to someone realizing this was really poor form.
The edit didn’t come quickly enough, sadly. This is the internet after all…
Herbert Now Holds An Incredible Record
Tua had a pretty regrettable outing on the day but Herbert shone brightly. The Chargers quarterback posted 367 passing yards, taking his career total to 13,056, which is more than any player can boast for their first three seasons.
The record was held by former Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck, who had amassed 12,957 in his first three years as a pro.

The 24-year-old made 51 throws in the game, completing an impressive 76.5 percent of them. Herbert has proven to be a wise choice for the Chargers, yet the team has hardly been consistent enough to take proper advantage of his form. Still, Sunday’s win moved them into a playoff spot in the AFC.
After the game, Herbert told ESPN he is delighted to be in the same conversation as someone like Luck.
“I’ve got a ton of respect for Andrew Luck,” he said. “For him as a football player, as a person, as a teammate — I think it’s just cool to be in the same conversation as him.”
