Former NFL defensive end Greg Hardy is now employed by retail corporation Walmart, or so he would have us believe.
Hardy, who spent six years in the NFL, playing for the Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys, was arrested for domestic abuse after being accused of strangling and threatening to kill his girlfriend.
The Cowboys signed him to a one-year deal in 2015, though he was facing a four-game suspension at the time. And he would be convicted on multiple charges but was able to get the case dropped via appeal after his accuser failed to show up in court.
Hardy was later arrested for cocaine possession before transitioning to MMA. And, following some impressive performances on the amateur scene, was invited to fight in UFC’s Contender Series.
He would be released after being thrashed by Sergey Spivak at UFC 272 last year, much to the enjoyment of the folks who had lashed out at Dana White for handing him the opportunity.
A deal with the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship followed, where he suffered a KO defeat in the second round of his debut.
The 34-year-old has taken to social media to reveal, and complain about, his employment at Walmart. Speaking in a video posted to his Instagram this Friday, he showed himself ranting in one of the Texas outlets, where he says he sells Spectrum contracts.

The former DE and MMA fighter told his detractors they were welcome to heckle him which, of course, they did.
Some people offered support, however.
“Life has ups and downs, no retreat, no surrender,” one user commented.
Couldn’t have said it better.
