The NFL has announced a special new feature that will debut at Super Bowl 58 in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Feb. 11.
On Thursday, the league announced that Tiësto will serve as the first-ever in-game DJ for the Super Bowl this year. The 55-year-old, who performed at the 2004 Summer Olympics, has long been regarded as the world’s greatest DJ.
Back in September, it was announced that Usher will serve as the headliner for the Super Bowl 58 halftime show. Last year’s universally praised halftime show (at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona) was headlined by Rihanna.
Needless to say, the in-game audience and fans watching at home will not be short on superstar-level entertainment for Super Bowl 58.
The Super Bowl 58 matchup will be determined on Sunday night following the two conference championship games. The Baltimore Ravens will host the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC title game, with the San Francisco 49ers hosting the Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship Game.
While the Chiefs are looking to qualify for their fourth Super Bowl in five years, the Ravens are looking to reach the big game for the first time in 11 years. The 49ers, losers of the last two NFC Championship Games, are looking to reach their first Super Bowl in four years.
