The National Football League made a huge announcement for the London games.
All three NFL teams, who just finished the 2024 season under .500 and missed the playoffs, will play games in London during the 2025 NFL regular season.
The NFL announced on Friday that New York, Cleveland, and Jacksonville will be the designated home teams for those games.
London has been a routine stop for the NFL over the last few years, and 2025 will continue to keep that dream alive.
The Jets and Browns will both play at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, while the Jaguars will reside at Wembley Stadium.
“We look forward to welcoming the Jets, Browns, and Jaguars to London as part of the 2025 NFL International Games,” NFL UK and Ireland general manager Henry Hodgson said in a statement via NFL.com. “This season will see us surpass 40 regular-season games in the capital, a testament to the role the UK has played in growing the game globally. The London games are a continued catalyst for year-round fan engagement, and we are focused on serving our 15 million fans, reaching new communities, and driving growth in flag football participation, which now sees over 100,000 young people play the game.”

One final fan summed it up: “At this point, why doesn’t the NFL build an NFL stadium there with proper grass and bring teams to spend 3 weeks there at a time? Can be done all season. Keep from players getting hurt and it can be used for most of a season, which is more than can be said for most stadiums.”

Will London Ever Get a Permanent NFL Team?
Of the 32 current NFL franchises, the Jaguars were the most likely to move to London.
They have played designated home games there the most.
Even still, the Jaguars have a deal with Jacksonville for a renovated stadium, so that plan is likely scrapped.
With the sport getting more popular overseas, a future team is certainly something the league will explore.
