Last Thursday, the New York Giants had the surprise of the first round when they selected QB Daniel Jones with the 6th-overall pick in the NFL Draft.
Giants General Manager Dave Gettleman has been trashed for it ever since.
Maybe, just maybe, people should cut him some slack for the pick, at least according to Brian Baldinger.
The NFL analyst took a bunch of clips and showed off why Jones numbers were as bad as they were while completely trashing the entire Duke Blue Devils football team around him.
As you can see, Jones put that ball right where it needed to be multiple times and yet, his teammates continued to let him down time after time. It’s no wonder why his completion percentage was so low.
