Chris Canty started a ton of controversy over his most recent list of NFL players.
During Friday’s episode of Get Up on ESPN, the NFL analyst named his top-five “most overrated” players in the league.
Here’s the full list:
- Dak Prescott
- Christian McCaffrey
- Saquon Barkley
- Khalil Mack
- Derwin James Jr.
During the 2021 season, Prescott completed 68.8 percent of his pass attempts. He had 4,449 passing yards, 37 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He is coming off a terrible end to their great regular season when the team lost 23-17 in the wild-card loss to the 49ers.
As you may remember, Prescott ran a quarterback draw that began with 14 seconds left in the game. With the clock still running, the Cowboys rushed up to the 24-yard line, where Prescott was marked down after a slide and lined up for a spike. Instead of handing the ball to an official, Prescott handed it to center Tyler Biadasz, who tried to quickly snap it. hat delayed the umpire spotting the ball and time would run out on their season.

Christian McCaffrey and Saquon Barkley have both battled injuries and inconsistent play on the field. The potential is there, but the best ability is availability.
Khalil Mack is a three-time All-Pro, and former Defensive Player of the Year, but the 31-year-old is nothing like he used to be.
James is a two-time Pro Bowler who made the All-Pro first team during a fantastic rookie year in 2018. Unfortunately, injuries held the Florida State product to five games in 2019 and all of 2020, but he returned to All-Pro form in 2021 with 118 tackles, two interceptions, two sacks, and three forced fumbles.
