NFL supporters were left infuriated after the league permitted a preseason game to go on despite the serious threat of a hurricane.

Other leagues did the opposite, with two MLS games that were to take place in L.A. postponed and three MLB fixtures moved up from Sunday to Saturday after California Governor Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency.
The National Weather Service also issued a flash-flood warning urging residents in Southern California not to leave home unless it was for evacuation purposes.
