Buffalo Bills superstar wide receiver Stefon Diggs is one of the top names to follow in the NFL trade rumor mill after this season.
Diggs’ frustrations with the Bills have been well-documented. For instance, he left Buffalo’s locker room early after last year’s playoff loss to the Cincinnati Bengals (and was seen yelling at Josh Allen on the sidelines). He was also absent from the team’s first offseason minicamp session.
The Bills have been football’s biggest disappointment thus far in 2023 with a 6-6 record through 12 games. If they miss out on the postseason or endure another playoff exit, Diggs could ultimately hit the trade block.
If that ends up being the case, Jerry Jones and his Dallas Cowboys should have Bills GM Brandon Beane on speed dial and push hard for a trade that would reunite Stefon with younger brother Trevon Diggs.
Entering Week 13, Dallas is averaging the most points per game (31.5) in the NFL, and that’s with CeeDee Lamb (1,066 yards) lacking a true game-changing No. 2 receiver to complement him.
Dallas should offer Buffalo 2024 second and 2023 third-round picks in return for Diggs. It’s a steep price for a player who will be 31 years of age next year, but Diggs (83 catches, 969 yards and eight touchdowns this season) hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down.

The Cowboys need one more piece to close the gap with the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC. Diggs, a consistent 1,000-yard receiver, would make the Dak Prescott-led offense that much more explosive.
For Beane and the Bills, those picks could be used to retool the roster while clearing much-needed cap space. After all, something has to change for a team that keeps falling short of its Super Bowl quest.
