On Tuesday, Randall Cobb officially ended his 8-year career with the Green Bay Packers ranked sixth in team history with 470 receptions & 11th in both receiving yards (5,524) & TDs (41) after he agreed to sign with the Dallas Cowboys.
Once the news became official, the second-round pick out of Kentucky in 2011 took to Twitter and sent out the perfect tweet to announce his arrival in Dallas.
Cobb was a dynamic slot receiver and returner and a Pro Bowler during his prime years. He received just a 1-year deal from the Cowboys, most likely to replace Cole Beasley who took his talents to the Buffalo Bills this offseason.
In 2018, Cobb hauled in 38 receptions for 383 yards and two touchdowns in nine games, which was some of the worst numbers he put up since his rookie campaign.
If healthy, the Cowboys are likely hoping he could bring the type of numbers he had in 2014 when he brought in 91 catches for nearly 1,300 yards and 12 touchdowns. That is the best case scenario for both sides.
