If it wasn’t clear before, it is now confirmed that Zach Wilson is done with the New York Jets.
The Jets got a late Christmas present when doctors cleared quarterback Mike White and he will start Sunday against the Seahawks. White has missed the past two games, both losses to the Lions and Jaguars, as he recovered from broken ribs. Zach Wilson started in his place and did not play well.
Not only that, Joe Flacco will be the backup QB as Zach Wilson will be inactive for that contest.
FOX’s Jay Glazer said on Christmas Eve that the Jets have “lost all confidence” in Wilson and that he expects them to move on from the former BYU star this off-season.
“They’ve lost all confidence in Zach Wilson,” Glazer said. “Zach lost all confidence in himself going into the last game. He came out with even less confidence. Expect the Jets to move off of him after this season.”

The Jets head to Seattle with their playoff hopes still alive.
Moving on from Zach Wilson this off-season would allow New York to find a more proven veteran. That might lead them to somebody like Jimmy G.
