Zach Wilson’s mom has rubbished claims of her family having a close relationship with the New York Jets owner.
The quarterback’s future has been the subject of speculation since he got benched for a second time this season. However, New York radio host Michael Kay recently made claims of being told by someone close to the team’s ownership that Wilson’s family is close to Woody Johnson, so the QB is “definitely” going to play for the Jets next season.
Zach’s mother, Lisa Wilson, has responded to Kay’s report, claiming that her family has only had one conversation with Johnson, which dates back to the day after Zach was drafted.

Jets coach Robert Saleh insisted the team is committed to Wilson amid the speculation over his future, declaring that the Jets will continue to help and support the young QB as they believe in him.
Lisa has not addressed the matter and was only interested in rubbishing Kay’s claims.
