The New York Jets are expected to make a massive change to their uniform scheme in 2024.
The team kicked off a new era with veteran Aaron Rodgers as their quarterback last season, but his time under center was short-lived as he suffered a season-ending Achilles injury just a few minutes into his debut.
A-Rod and the Jets are now looking forward to next season, when the QB will hope to play a full season. The AFC East outfit is also reportedly set to make a uniform change, with their 80s throwback threads to make up their primary wardrobe.
The NFL permits a team to use the same uniform for up to five years. And, with the Jets dropping their Gotham Green unis in 2019, their time is up.
They’ve also put their current uniforms on sale at the NFLShop, something which can usually be counted on as a sign of things to come, i.e., new threads.
