A certain New York Jets fan may have to live with a very regrettable decision after getting a tattoo inspired by some unrealistic expectations.
The photo below shows the fan in question bearing ink naming the Jets Super Bowl 58 champs.
There was hope that the Jets would have at least made it to the playoffs this term, but they had to watch their neighbors, the New York Giants and Buffalo Bills progress.
The Giants and Bills both went out in the divisional round to the Philadelphia Eagles and Cincinnati Bengals, respectively.
While Super Bowl 58 is still far off, there’s very little to justify getting such a tattoo as there’s literally nothing suggesting a Super Bowl appearance where the Jets are concerned. Teams don’t suddenly win Championships after being bad for years.
Changes Are Afoot In New York
The team could be in for a new quarterback this year, with Zach Wilson thought to have fallen out of favor. Tom Brady has been mentioned as a potential replacement for the youngster, whose poor performances saw him benched twice during the season.
