Zach Wilson is finally on the move.
After months of rumors that his time with the New York Jets was over, the franchise finally traded him less than a week away from the NFL Draft.
On Monday, the Jets traded Zach Wilson to the Denver Broncos, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Rapoport further adds the two teams will swap late-round picks, with Denver giving up a sixth and getting back a seventh, while the Jets will also eat some of Wilson’s remaining $5.5 million guaranteed salary in 2024.
The 2021 first-round pick has been on the trade block the entire offseason, but the Jets found a ton of trouble finding a suitor willing to take him on. That entered the Denver Broncos, who are in need of a quarterback after they cut Russell Wilson.
