A subtle hint in the New York Jets’ team shop spawned a rumor that new uniforms are on the horizon in 2024.
It turns out that hint was real.
Whenever an NFL team overhauls its uniforms, it must wait at least five years to change them again. The Jets introduced their current uniforms in 2019, so 2024 marks the opening of their window to make another change and that is exactly what they did.
