The Pittsburgh Steelers Wild Card matchup with the Buffalo Bills is not believed to be a candidate for a location change but they may need to change.
On Friday, New York Governor Kathy Hochul issued a State of Emergency ahead of the playoff wild card game.
The State of Emergency is declared in Allegany, Cattaraugus, Cayuga, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Jefferson, Lewis, Livingston, Monroe, Niagara, Ontario, Orleans, Oswego, and Wyoming Counties.
The Buffalo Bills play in Erie County, which is where Highmark Stadium is located in Orchard Park.
Hochul said on Friday that she has activated 100 members of the New York National Guard to be in place in Western New York this weekend to assist with the snow event.
The winter storm is predicted to bring heavy lake-effect snow, high winds, and low temperatures, with blizzard-like conditions possible.

Hochul also issued a travel ban for all empty tractor-trailers and tandem trucks in New York State. She said additional travel bans are possible and urges citizens to plan ahead of the storm.
The Bills announced Friday they are looking for people to help shovel snow inside Highmark Stadium Saturday night to get the field ready for Sunday’s game.
The Bills are offering shovelers a payment of $20 per hour.
