The New York Giants hit their fans with a nice surprise this Thursday, having made a huge change to their center-field graphic.
Supporters had been clamoring for the NY logo to grace the center of the field at the MetLife Stadium, as opposed to the generic NFL one. And it appears their cries have been heard as the Giants took to Twitter to offer a view of what fans can expect to see at the 50-yard line next season.
There should be questions over whether the Jets will follow in like fashion but fans on the greener side will be more concerned with the weighted expectations given the team’s acquisition of Aaron Rodgers this offseason.
So there’s a bit more for Jets fans to look forward to on the back of their return to the playoffs last term, having gone 9-7-1 in the regular season. The G-Men have also made some key additions ahead of the 2023 campaign, having brought in the likes of Darren Waller, Jalin Hyatt, Parris Campbell, and Bobby Okereke.
Of course, there’s still something to worry about given the uncertainty surrounding Saquon Barkley. But there is hope the parties could reach an understanding.
Should the team eventually come to terms with the running back, there will be too much to celebrate in East Rutherford.
