Back in April, TV news station KCTV5 aired pieces of an argument between Tyreek Hill and his fiancee which were recorded earlier in the year at an airport in Dubai. In the recordings, Tyreek and Crystal Espinal can be heard arguing about who was responsible for hurting their 3-year-old child.
Now, the entire audio has been released, and the parts that were omitted in the previous version appear to suggest that Espinal may have lied about a 2014 incident during which Hill was accused of domestic assault.
The incident Hill is speaking of took place on December 14, 2014. Hill was kicked off the Oklahoma State football and track & field teams as a result. He eventually went to the University of West Alabama to finish off his college football career, and the accusation also caused him to fall all the way to the fifth-round of the 2016 NFL draft.
Hill pled guilty to domestic assault and battery by strangulation, and was sentenced to three years probation. But judging by what Kansas City sports station 610 KCSP uncovered in the complete audio of their argument, Hill may have been wrongfully accused by Espinal.

“… You ruined my life and you lied on me in 2014, bro,” Hill said of the incident, which took place in his Stillwater, Oklahoma, residence and resulted in him being kicked off Oklahoma State’s football team.
“And if you want to rewind that night we can rewind that night too, [expletive]. You was in my house. And did I pick you up and slam you? Hell no, I picked you up and put you out my door and after that you left. And on my son you did that, bro. And then then you get in the courtroom you want to sit up there and cry on the stand. ‘He hit me, he hit me.’ Man, come on bro.”
“Then where did the bruises come from, Tyreek?” Espinal asked.
“Did I hit you? Did I hit you, though?” Hill replied.
“I’m asking you where did the bruises come from,” Espinal said.
“Did I hit you? Tell me the truth in my eyes right now. Look at me,” Hill said.
“We’re not thinking about that,” Espinal said. “Right now the issue is [our son].”

The district attorney’s office decided not to press charges against Hill or Espinal after their 3-year-old son broke his arm earlier this year. The case is currently inactive. However, Hill has remained suspended by the Chiefs as the league continues to investigate the matter. It’ll be interesting to see how this latest bit of information (which the NFL has apparently already had access to) influences the league’s final verdict.
