The market is cool on Lamar Jackson right now, despite him being an MVP-level talent as a quarterback and still having so much upside given his age.
Lamar is no closer to getting himself a new deal since the Baltimore Ravens placed the non-exclusive franchise tag on him earlier this month. Multiple teams immediately made it known that they weren’t interested in pursuing the quarterback and it appears the Ravens’ tactics are working as they’re said to have put the tag on the player in order to have him gauge his value himself.
At the moment, it doesn’t appear that it’s what Jackson imagined, but there’s one team now thought to be considering triggering a trade that would cost two first-round draft picks.
According to the bookmakers, the Ravens are still the team most likely to field the QB in 2023 but the Tennessee Titans have gone from +1200 to +400 in a matter of two days.
While there are no official reports in the way of a contract offer from the Titans, or any team for that matter, Tennessee has been billed as the perfect fit for the former MVP.
Meanwhile, it’s also being reported that Jackson is ready to move on from the Ravens and would prefer to play elsewhere next season. He’s also no longer thought to be seeking a fully guaranteed deal.

The Indianapolis Colts are another team that could potentially sign the quarterback as it’s understood that they haven’t ruled out a move for the 26-year-old.
