Two Missouri residents have been charged with murder following the shooting incident at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade last Wednesday.
A report from The Athletic cites Jackson prosecutors who have revealed that two men, namely Dominic Miller and Lyndell Mays, are facing second-degree murder charges, as well as two counts of armed criminal charges and unlawful use of a weapon.
Both of the individuals mentioned above have been in hospital since the shooting and are being held on a $1 million bond.
Elizabeth Galvan, a 43-year-old mother of two, lost her life in the shooting, with 22 others suffering injuries.
Two juveniles were charged in connection with the incident this past Friday, though they were not taken to task for Galvan’s death and were being detained on “gun-related and resisting arrest charges.”
“During the autopsy of the female victim, a 38 caliber class bullet was recovered from her body,” the charging documents state. “A ballistic comparison of the bullet recovered from the female victim and the firearms recovered in relation to the homicide was conducted and it was determined the bullet recovered from the female was fired from the Taurus G3 9mm, the firearm Miller acknowledged possessing and firing.”

Miller, one of the men charged, told detectives at a local hospital he fired his gun after another man shot at him.
According to prosecutors, the incident stemmed from a verbal altercation, and the men were not known to each other before it started.
