A fascinating new study reveals the average beer price charged by all 32 NFL teams, and some of the numbers are quite stunning.
Fans who attend NFL games frequently know that food and beverage prices are usually a big-time ripoff. But NFL teams charge such lucrative prices because they know fans will always give in.
Team Marketing Report (via VinePair) recently studied the costs for fans to attend an NFL game at every stadium. This included the cost of a single 16 oz beer, and let’s just say you better be willing to pony up the cash if you’re going to attend a game in a big market.
Among all NFL teams, the Philadelphia Eagles charge more for a 16 oz beer than anybody at $14.67. The Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, who share the home venue of SoFi Stadium, have the second-most expensive beer prices at $13.75.
Some of the main surprises? The Jacksonville Jaguars charge more ($11.50 per) than NFL teams with traditionally pricy tickets such as the Dallas Cowboys ($9.50), Green Bay Packers ($9.50), and New York Giants and Jets ($11.50).

Even the Chicago Bears and Kansas City Chiefs, two of the most expensive sporting tickets in America, have much cheaper prices at $8.80 and $8.50, respectively.
The 2024 NFL season will begin on Sept. 5, when the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs play host to Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium. Next year’s Super Bowl will be played at the New Orleans Saints’ home venue of the Caesars Superdome on Feb. 9.
NFL Teams Won’t Be Dropping Those Prices
Unfortunately for football fans, ticket, food and drink prices aren’t going to change any time soon. The NFL makes billions and billions of dollars annually, and that’s largely because the fans are always willing to pay up their outrageous prices.
So if anything else, fans attending games this year may as well try to enjoy the current beer prices before they increase further in the coming years.
