When people think of the Super Bowls, many think of the actual teams playing in the games and what a victory could mean for the players on both squads.
For others, it is everything but the game that they care about.
A recent study breaks down what actually matters to people when it comes to the Super Bowl and there are three things that come before the teams playing against each other.
“Conducted by OnePoll on behalf of Char-Broil, results revealed that the half-time show (55%), commercials (45%), and drinks (40%) all outweigh the competition on the field (38%),” writes the New York Post.
It should be noted that the survey contacted 2,000 American adults who watch the Super Bowl, with 17% saying they plan to watch 20 minutes or less of the actual game and 9% saying they are unlikely to even know the teams participating in the action.
29% of people who responded stated they spent more time in front of the snacks with 29 minutes of game time (out of 60) being the average amount watched by those surveyed.

There have only been eight Super Bowl rematches in the previous 57 games. When the Niners get a second shot at a Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs it will be a rare title game rematch in such a short amount of time.
Both teams have eight players on the active roster who played for them in the first meeting.
For the Chiefs, Mahomes will be joined by Travis Kelce, Chris Jones, Harrison Butker, Mecole Hardman, James Winchester, Nick Allegretti, and Blake Bell.
For the 49ers, Nick Bosa is joined by Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, Fred Warner, Dre Greenlaw, Arik Armstead, Kyle Juszczyk, and Mitch Wishnowsky.
The Chiefs are the official home team for the game, so they had the privilege of choosing which jersey to wear and they are donning the home reds, leaving the 49ers with their road whites, which is the same combination we saw the last time these two teams played.
