The New Orleans Saints hold the No. 28 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, but the franchise appear to be up to something huge on draft day.
Jay Glazer of FOX Sports dropped the news that the team is looking to move up in the draft….like into the top-10, but it isn’t to select a quarterback.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport added that the Saints are “doing the most groundwork” of any team to potentially trade up and have even inquired about getting into the top 10.

The team is likely looking for defense, which means either taking Alabama’s Patrick Surtain II or South Carolina’s Jaycee Horn.
New Orleans is set to enter the 2021 season with Jameis Winston and Taysom Hill competing for the starting role.
