Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans was both ejected and suspended for his latest incident with Saints defensive back Marshon Lattimore.
He didn’t know it at the time, but he lost a lot more when a restaurant decided to ban him from their property.
The NFL announced on Monday that Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans has been suspended for one game without pay after he was ejected for playing a role in a massive, benches-clearing brawl.
Evans is being suspended for violating the NFL’s unnecessary roughness and unsportsmanlike conduct rules.
Blue Oak BBQ, a restaurant in New Orleans, announced via social media that he would not be allowed in their establishment.
The brawl began when New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore got into a verbal spat with Tom Brady. That is when Leonard Fournette pushed Lattimore. Evans, who was all the way on the sideline, ran in and tackled Lattimore, and then everything devolved from there.

Lattimore was also ejected from the game, but his behavior didn’t warrant a suspension or even a fine.
