The brother of Aqib Talib allegedly shot and killed a man at a youth football game over the weekend.
Alternate footage from a different angle now shows that former NFL cornerback Aqib Talib was ‘just feet’ away from the gunfire that allegedly came from his brother, Yaqub Talib.
TMZ Sports chose not to publish the actual shooting and paused it before it got really bad.
Aqib Talib’s lawyer has issued a statement:
“Aqib was present when this unfortunate incident occurred and is very distraught and devastated over this terrible loss of life,” the lawyers statement explains. “He would like to convey his condolences to the family of the victim and to everyone who witnessed this unfortunate tragedy.” Yaqub Talib turned himself in on Monday. Aqib has not been charged with any crime. Based on a video obtained by TMZ.com, “Aqib was in the middle of the incident,” but “he is never seen participating in the violence.”

According to witnesses, Talib pulled out a gun and shot Hickmon multiple times after a disagreement between the opposing coaching staff of two youth football teams over calls made by the officiating crew led to a physical fight, police said.
Michael Hickmon was later pronounced dead at a hospital. Police said no other injuries were reported.
Aqib Talib was named last month as a contributor for Prime Video’s “Thursday Night Football.”
