New England Patriots players are not having a very good offseason since being eliminated in the Wild Card round.
Just days after Julian Edelman got arrested for jumping on a car while out drinking, Patriots cornerback Joejuan Williams was arrested last week on drug possession charges when a Tennessee Highway Patrol officer allegedly found “an unnamed controlled substance, prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia,” in Williams’ vehicle during a traffic stop last Friday.
Williams is now facing charges for speeding, possession of a controlled substance, possession of legend drugs without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The 22-year-old appeared in nine games and recorded five tackles, no interceptions and a pass defended during the 2019 season.
