Bail has been set for former NFL star Richard Sherman following his DUI arrest over the weekend.
Sherman, who is now an analyst following a career during which he played as a star cornerback for the Seahawks, 49ers, and Buccaneers, was taken into police custody on Saturday morning. He was pulled over in Washington after driving at 79 mp/h in a 60 mp/h zone. He admitted to having a few drinks while speaking to the arresting officers.
Per FOX 13 Seattle, bail has been set for him at $5,000.
The two-time All-Pro was not present at the King County District Court when a Judge set his bail on Monday and was in custody up until.
A hearing has been set for Wednesday, before which he will not be allowed to drive, drink alcohol, or refuse testing before it takes place.
Sherman pleaded to misdemeanor charges related to drunk driving and domestic violence in 2022.
