Odell Beckham Jr. could make a whole lot more than $15 million with the Baltimore Ravens in 2023.
The wide receiver will be making his receptions in purple next season after agreeing to a deal worth the aforementioned sum with the team. There was a lot of interest in Beckham this offseason but there was also hesitancy when it came to money. The Ravens uncharacteristically agreed to pay OBJ $15 million in spite of his age and history with injuries, and they have gotten some criticism over the move.
However, the 30-year-old can make even more should he meet certain objectives.
Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk has outlined what it would take for the WR to trigger the add-ons in his contract.
According to the NFL insider, OBJ could secure an extra million if he makes at least 60 catches during the campaign, and there will be an additional million coming his way if he registers at least 1,000 yards. Nine touchdowns or more would also earn him another million.
Florio notes that the player could also bag $1 million by leading the Ravens in all of the categories mentioned above, no matter what the number is.

Should OBJ go on to make $18 million next season, it would be hard to argue that he wasn’t worth every penny. The Ravens probably wouldn’t mind paying the amount if it helps smooth things over with Lamar Jackson either.
