So Jamal Adams wants out of New York and according to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the first-team All-Pro safety “would welcome a trade” to seven particular teams.
Adams next destination appears to be the Dallas Cowboys or Baltimore Ravens, according to betting odds released via Sportsline.
Ahead of last year’s trade deadline, Dallas and New York discussed a trade involving Adams both neither side could quite come to an agreement. Adams, a Texas native, shared his desire to play in Dallas if he weren’t on the Jets amid trade rumors in 2019.
Adams current dilemma with the New York Jets revolves around his expiring rookie deal and he is ready to part ways with the franchise.
Recent speculation has Adams wanting to bring in $20 million annually on his next deal. That would make him the highest-paid strong safety in NFL history.
