Ndamukong Suh is one of the most outspoken players on and off the field and he does not hold his tongue for anybody.
Just recently, the former NFL All-Pro defensive lineman revealed that he intends to sign with a team this season, but as a veteran, he has “no intention” of participating in preseason training camp.
Suh appeared on the NFL Network’s Total Access and sounded like a man who had no intentions of signing with the New York Jets.
Suh said he’s “absolutely not” believing the Jets’ Super Bowl hype following their deal for volatile quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Suh, who played against Rodgers for years as a member of the NFC North’s Detroit Lions, compared him negatively to his old teammate, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady.
“When Tom Brady came in, and the things that he did that offseason to create that chemistry, that comradery, bringing that group together, especially during a COVID period of time. Like I don’t know if Aaron Rodgers has that chemistry and that way to do those different things,” Suh said.
“Tom got all the offensive guys together…I gotta see that offseason chemistry, especially as we get closer to camp.”
It’s no secret that Ndamukong Suh and Aaron Rodgers don’t get along. The rivalry between the two started in 2014 when it appeared that Suh blatantly stepped on Rodgers’ leg while the quarterback was on the ground in a game between the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions.
In 2021, Suh appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s podcast and admitted he’s “gonna always want to piss off Aaron and make him not want to be my friend on the football field.”

Based on his comments, Suh might take his talents to a division rival just so he could hit Rodgers.
