Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen had the fortunes of enjoying some post-game turkey after helping his team to a pivotal and thrilling home win over the New England Patriots.
Thielen, Justin Jefferson and Kirk Cousins, Minnesota’s three best players on the evening, got the honors of sharing a delicious turkey on the field post-game. Just one minor problem for Thielen: The turkey was a bit dry, and it almost caused him to choke:
Jefferson and Thielen had monster games against one of the NFL’s elite defenses. The former led the way with nine catches for 139 yards and a touchdown. Thielen caught nine passes for 61 yards and a touchdown, including the game-winning TD reception in the fourth quarter.
With the victory, the Vikings improved to 9-2 on the year.
