NBC’s ‘Today’ show had a meteorologist totally embarrass herself while discussing the weather forecast for Sunday’s NFC Title game between the Detroit Lions and San Francisco 49ers.
While the on-screen graphic for her presentation had the logos down, it read “Packers vs. 49ers” instead of “Lions vs. 49ers.
“As we slide towards the west, this is like a nearly perfect forecast,” she said. “Packers vs. 49ers at 6:30 p.m. ET – partly cloudy skies, light winds. I’m hoping for a Packers-Ravens Super Bowl.”
“That’s what I meant,” she insisted after being corrected by a colleague. “They [the Packers] lost last week. I meant Lions win.”

It may have very well been the Packers vs. the Lions this Sunday as the Niners were nearly ousted before Green Bay’s kicker missed a field goal and Jordan Love threw a late INT.
