Thursday’s matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks featured a performance from DJ and music producer Steve Aoki but the millions of people at home never got to see much of it.
NFL fans were left baffled on Thursday night as NBC showed just seconds of Steve Aoki’s halftime performance in Seattle.
Just as Aoki’s halftime show kicked off, the NBC broadcast cut to a commercial, causing fans to miss out on the performance.
“Unfortunately, fans at home only got to see it briefly before NBC abruptly ended their Halftime Show…”
That means we missed out on the 45-year-old launching a birthday cake into the face of Seattle’s mascot, Blitz.

Things were made worse for Seahawks fans as their team trailed the 49ers 24-3 at halftime. The sight of thousands of San Francisco fans clad in red at Lumen Field on Thanksgiving Day didn’t help matters as well.
The Seahawks made a little noise after halftime as they scored 10 points in the third quarter, but finished off the fourth quarter going scoreless to lose the game, 31-13.
It was a humbling defeat that left Seattle (6-5) two games behind the first-place 49ers after dropping three of its last four.
