The National Weather Service has issued a warning to fans looking to travel to the playoff clash between the Dolphins and Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium this Saturday.
The AFC teams are set to play each other in worryingly frigid weather and their meeting is expected to be one of the coldest in NFL history, with temperatures tipped to drop below zero while there will be a wind chill of minus 30 degrees.
The NWS is advising that the temperature will be “extremely dangerous” and that fans should cover all extremities, including their heads and faces.
As of yesterday, ticket prices for the game had dropped significantly given how unattractive it had become as a result of the arctic blast headed toward the Kansas/Missouri border.
Admission was going for as low as $45 while 50-yard-line seats could be had for just $265.
