Marcus Mariota may have lost his starting job and completely fell out of favor in Tennessee, but he is still an overall good guy at heart, so you’d expect a little more respect to come his way by people around time.
Nashville news station News 4 was in the process of demonstrating live how to cook a bird for Thanksgiving when the on-site reporter decided to name the bird “Mariota.”
Get it? Because like Mariota with the Titans, that bird is done. On top of that comment came a reply from the in-studio reporter replied with a snarky comment about knowing when the turkey is done.
“When you’re throwing three interceptions in a game.”
