If you’ve watched sports long enough, then you know just how much ESPN loves rags to riches stories. They seek out the most tragic stories when draft picks gets selected and relay them to millions of people every single year.
Last night on Monday Night Football, ESPN’s Steve Levy suggested that Steelers running back Najee Harris slept on the floor during his time at Alabama – instead of in a bed.
After the victory, Najee Harris took to Twitter and called them out for lying.
“Bra I ain’t sleep on no dam floor in college. I slept on my bed,” Harris said in response.
Levy was actually right in what he said, but just had the wrong Alabama running back as an excerpt from a 2018 Bleacher Report article by Adam Kramer reveals it was Josh Jacobs, not Harris.

“When he arrived at Alabama, Josh Jacobs spent his first few months sleeping on the floor in his dorm room,” the report read. “Not because he didn’t have a bed. But because after years of sleeping on couches, on motel floors and in the back seat of his father’s maroon Chevy Suburban, he was more comfortable there.”
Mistakes happen. I’m pretty sure this information was given to him.
