Myles Garrett is having himself a wonderful week after the former No. 1 pick signed a massive extension with the Cleveland Browns that’ll pay him $125 million over five years.
Shortly after signing a new deal with the Browns, the Texas A&M product spoke to several reporters about the contract and somehow the conversation shifted to former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
Garrett didn’t address the lack of offers for Kaepernick, but he did bring up the lack of an apology from the league and thinks it is time for it to happen.
“I believe Kap deserves an apology,” Garrett told the media.”I know it’s one thing to stand behind us in supporting our efforts, but they should be standing beside us in what we’re doing.”

In the wake of Floyd’s death and the civil unrest in the United States that followed, several NFL players — including Browns receivers Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr. — took part in a video demanding action from the league.
Commissioner Roger Goodell then responded with a video that admitted the league was wrong “for not listening to NFL players earlier and encourage all to speak out and peacefully protest.”
Kaepernick getting back in the league appear to be low once again, but more so because the coronavirus pandemic has stopped a lot for things from happening.
