Myles Garrett is doing his part in trying to recruit an old friend back to The Land.
Ex-Cleveland Browns wideout Odell Beckham Jr. remains a free agent, one week after the market officially opened. There has been speculation about a potential OBJ-to-Cleveland reunion, and Garrett himself is trying to make it work.
A fan commented on an Instagram post and told Garrett to bring Beckham back to Cleveland. The No. 1 selection of the 2017 NFL Draft responded with, “I’m working on it.” You can see a screenshot of Garrett’s comment below:
It was recently reported that the Browns will “not hesitate to” sign the former Pro Bowl wide receiver, despite the ugly and well-documented breakup in 2021.

Beckham was released from the Browns in the midst of a frustrating 2021 season, and he wound up signing with the Los Angeles Rams. Beckham helped the Rams to a Super Bowl 56 appearance, but he unfortunately suffered a torn ACL in the big game.
The Rams went on to win 23-20, and Beckham underwent surgery on the ACL tear. He spent most of the 2022 season and was cleared to return to action in November. Beckham met with several teams but never wound up signing a contract, thus keeping him on the sidelines for the entire year.
Cleveland made a big splash on Wednesday by acquiring young wide receiver Elijah Moore and a 2023 third-round pick from the New York Jets in exchange for a 2023 second-rounder. Bringing back Beckham would only make the Browns’ offense that much more dangerous.
Now, we wait and see if Garrett’s pitch to OBJ is successful.
