Cleveland Browns’ star edge rusher officially requested a trade on Monday.
The NFL’s reigning Defensive Player of the Year wrote in a statement that his goal “has always been to compete for and win a Super Bowl.”
Garrett is the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year and has spent his entire career with the Browns. He was the No. 1 overall pick out of Texas A&M in the 2017 NFL Draft.
Garrett added in his statement that he cared more about winning a championship than about becoming a Hall of Famer.
Now, we are seeing what a trade might look like.
One trade possibility that has popped up online shows that Myles Garrett could be sent to the Buffalo Bills.
In return, the Browns would receive zero players and three draft picks.

Garrett was the subject of trade rumors ahead of the 2024 NFL trade deadline, but nothing ever materialized then.
Last season, Myles Garrett had 47 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, 14 sacks, one pass deflection, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.
Cleveland Has No Intentions of Trading Myles Garrett
Myles Garrett officially requested a trade on Monday.
However, according to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, Cleveland has no intentions of trading him.
“Go back to the trading deadline, we reported that teams were interested in possibly trading for Garrett and the Browns were adamant they were not going to trade him. They were not going to entertain offers, and they didn’t at the time,” Garafolo said.
“My understanding is, despite this statement, the Browns are sticking to their stance and they do not intend to have any conversations or trade Garrett.”
Unfortunately for Garrett, it appears that he and the Cleveland Browns have differing opinions on where Garrett will be playing in 2025.
