Myles Garrett gave everybody a ticket to the gun show, but now he is paying for it.
The Cleveland Browns star revealed on Monday he was selected to be randomly drug tested, one day after a 14-7 victory over the Minnesota Vikings in which he showed off his massive arms.
“I go sleeveless for one game and they hit me with a ‘you got a random drug test in the morning,'” Garrett tweeted.
FYI, ten players from a given team are randomly selected to be tested in a given week. Garrett usually wears long sleeves for games, so he thinks his massive arms may have been the reason that he was tested this week.
During the 2021 season, Garrett has racked up 11 tackles and a league-leading six sacks. On Sunday, he recorded five tackles and 0.5 sacks.
The Browns have emerged tied for first in the AFC North with the Ravens and Bengals despite Baker Mayfield not playing his best ball yet. Sunday was one of the worst as he completed 15-of-33 passes for 155 yards, 0 touchdown, 0 interceptions, and a 59.5 rating.

His two TD passes on the season are tied for 31st in the NFL with Miami’s Jacoby Brissett and Houston rookie Davis Mills. The team is winning despite his poor play. Just imagine what they could do when and if he turns it on.
