Commanders’ rookie RB Brian Robinson was shot multiple times during an attempted carjacking, but luckily for him, his injuries were considered non-life-threatening.
Specifics regarding the incident weren’t known at the time, but more details have since begun to trickle out.

The former Alabama standout was selected by Washington in the third round of the draft in April. He racked up a career-high 1,343 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns last season with the Crimson Tide while helping them reach the national title game.
He did not play in Washington’s final preseason game against the Ravens on Saturday. He had 14 carries for 57 yards and one touchdown over their first two preseason games.
