There were also some credible rumors circulating that Watson would officially become a member of the Atlanta Falcons on Monday, once they finalized a deal to trade Matt Ryan and free up some cap space.
Well you can throw all of that speculation out the window, as Watson has officially chosen the Cleveland Browns as his next team. And it was even reported that the two sides have agreed on a new contract.
At the time, it was reported that the Browns and Texans still had to finalize a deal. From the sounds of it, that has now happened, as Houston will receive three first-round picks, as well as two additional mid-round picks, in exchange for Watson.
