Washington Commanders defensive end Montez Sweat has made an interesting change to his Instagram bio as trade rumors continue to swirl ahead of the deadline.
The former Mississippi State star is among Commanders players who are expected to be traded this week, with pass rusher Chase Young also garnering lots of interest. Recently, he’s made a social media alteration that’s quite specific.
X account NFL Retweet has pointed out that the player has changed his Instagram bio to “404,” which is Atlanta’s area code. Check it out below:
Sweat is a trade target for the Falcons and he is expected to be traded there before Tuesday’s deadline.
According to ProFootballTalk, ATL has offered a third-round pick in exchange. However, it will not be enough to get Washington to budge despite the loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on the weekend.
It was previously reported that their decision would hinge on their result in Week 8 and, even on the back of a loss, it will be difficult to convince the new Commanders ownership to let Sweat go for a third-round pick.
