The New York Jets had a terrible Monday. I mean, just downright gut-wrenching.
The team was in the negatives in terms of total yards for much of the first half, they were 2-14 on Third Down Efficiency, passed for only 169 yards, and couldn’t find the end zone all night long.
On top of that, 2nd-string QB Trevor Siemien went down with a gruesome ankle injury that will leave the team playing Luke Falk until Sam Darnold comes back.
Speaking of Darnold, the New York Jets QB made an appearance last night, not on the field, but in a Monday Night Football graphic where they used him in the background as they showed the Jets’ upcoming schedule while he’ll be out with Mono.
That is just hilarious and whoever made it at ESPN should get a raise right now.
