Monday Night Football has not been lacking in the animation department this season. Last night’s Los Angeles Rams-Arizona Cardinals game was no exception.
While Steve Levy was railing off some accolades of Kyler Murray, the animation departm, ent put the Arizona Cardinals QB in Tecmo Super Bowl. The video game was first released in Japan 30 years ago.
Kyler Murray had a weird Monday night against the Rams. He tossed completed 32 of 49 passes for 383 yards, but did not throw any touchdowns and threw two interceptions that could’ve easily been three or four. He also rushed seven times for 61 yards.
Murray made a lot of nice plays, but his last one was terrible after Arizona improbably recovered an onside kick to give themselves a chance to tie the game.
Murray threw a check down pass to James Conner in the middle of the field even though Arizona did not have any timeouts left, and instead of taking a spike to stop the clock, he hiked the ball and proceeded to run around as he got sacked by Aaron Donald.
Even his offensive line and wide receivers thought a spike was coming.
