Molly Qerim is a woman who makes upwards of approximately $1 million a year from ESPN. Basically, she is not hurting for money.
Despite having it readily available, that does not mean she will pay for things just because she has the funds. That is one reason she is being called out for being cheap.
During ESPN’s First Take on Monday with Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe, Qerim made it clear that she will not pay for HBO/Max while complaining about the costs of other streaming providers.
“Molly Qerim shared she doesn’t pay for HBO/Max and is already annoyed by the amount of streaming services she pays for,” tweeted by the Awful Announcing social media account.
Smith and Sharpe promptly decided to start making jokes.
“[Naked and Afraid] is on HBO, and I don’t have HBO,” Qerim said.
“Well you need to get it, stop being cheap,” Sharpe said. “That’s very unbecoming.”
“Stop being cheap!” Stephen A. said.
